Featuring Hido Selim on tenor and soprano saxophones, effects, programming, and production, the album also showcases Annike Heikes’ soulful vocals, Hans Oberlaender’s expressive bass, and Serhan Baki’s spiritual santoor. Inspired by the stillness and emotion of nature, Breathe in Blue is a meditative and immersive exploration of the connection between the organic and the electronic. Each composition flows like a living landscape — where breath, rhythm, and silence coexist in harmony.
At the heart of the project, Hido Selim performs on tenor and soprano saxophones, weaving soulful melodies enriched with effects, electronics, and intricate programming that blur the lines between instrument and atmosphere. His production crafts a seamless dialogue between acoustic tone and digital texture, capturing the essence of nature’s fluidity and depth.
The EP features the mesmerizing voice of Annike Heikes, whose soulful vocals guide the listener through emotional landscapes that echo the serenity and mystery of the natural world.
