„XJAZZ! Festival Compilation #1 (Live)" is the first live sampler from Berlin's XJAZZ! Festival, released in 2022 on XJAZZ! Music. The album gathers ten live recordings by artists who performed at the festival — among them Richard Koch, David Helbock, Monika Werkstatt, Ralph Heidel, Leona Berlin and Embryo. A cross-section of Berlin's jazz and improvisation scene, the compilation captures the energy and breadth of an XJAZZ! edition, from free improvisation to groove-driven pieces.
